Semester Away

In Fall 1999, I participated in the Service-Learning Semester at South Dakota State University . Following a combination of coursework at SDSU and a ten-week service placement on the Standing Rock Sioux reservation in North Dakota, I wrote this final paper on cultural relevance in self-determined American Indian education.
