For all people South Asian or who want to be........ Deshi is the Swarthmore South Asian Students Organization. We meet once a week to plan cultural events, and to commune over a wonderful dinner at the Sharples dining center. This fall look for an all-campus party in celebration of Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights. This year it is on October 30. Upcoming events include speakers on issues pertaining to South Asians and South Asian Americans. Of special note is a Spring semester mandolin concert with an appearance by Zakar Hussein
