I used to dismiss most personal web
pages as self-aggrandizing soap-box venues adding inaudible
notes to the cacophony that is the internet, and, indeed,
our society these days. You are witness to my conversion. I
see now that personal pages can serve several purposes, not
the least of which is a portable list of bookmarks (see
below). I also intend this to be a way for me to connect
with the people I care about but live thousands of miles
away from. I hope to put up some pictures (my kingdom for a
scanner) and stuff, especially since I just cut my
hairagain. You could always look at the

pages at Swarthmore
College, where I will be a
senior this coming year. I'm editing those as part of my job
here this summer. A pretty good job, since I'm an econ
major. I suppose there's such a thing as too much animation
on your page. I am aware of the virtue of moderation,
however, those dancing heads are really cute.
