Welcome to my Homepage!
Hi. My name is John W. Loser. I'm a junior at Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania.
Swarthmore is about 20 minutes outside of Philadelphia, and about 2 hours from
New York City. I was born on Long Island, New York in a small town, New Hyde Park
on a sunny day in April 1978. New Hyde Park is about 10 miles outside of Manhattan.
I lived and grew up in NHP all my life, and am proud to say that I come from
"LONG GISLAND"- although my accent isn't quite that bad. On this homepage, you'll find lots of pictures and funny stuff about my family, my friends at home, my friends at college, and all the interesting trips that I have taken. Also, you'll find some of the
things that I'm interested in and how I like to spend my free time. I hope you enjoy my page, and if you have any
questions or comments, please email me.
Where's Home?....
They say that home is where the heart is, and my heart is in two places - New Hyde Park, New York, and Dunnellon, Florida.
I grew up in New Hyde Park in two different houses. For fourteen years I lived in North NHP, and for
the past 5 years I've lived in South NHP. New Hyde Park will always be my home, no matter
where I go, what I do, or where I live. I have so many memories from
New Hyde Park, and I will forever cherish them. But life does move on, and we learn to call other places home.
In October of 1996, my mother got remarried and moved
down to Dunellon, Florida, to Wolfsong Ranch. And so, I have come to call Wolfsong Ranch my
second home. However, I do visit New Hyde Park much more often than I visit Dunnellon
simply because
NHP is closer to Philadelphia, and all my friends live in NHP.
But, whenever I get the chance
I head on down to Florida to visit my Mom and Dave, Pepper, Fred, Shotsi, Amber, and the horses. And who can forget Woober?
When I was 12 and my sister was in high school, Woober, my cat,
came to us on a snowy evening, and she's lived with us ever since.
You'll learn more about Woober, New Hyde Park,Dunnellon, and Wolfsong when you
check out my Family Page
