euphemisms
i always hate being photographed. my mom once told me that women with strong
features photograph poorly, while men with strong features photograph well.
i don't think that's fair. but strong features ... i'm not sure that's so
positive. could it just be an euphemism ... and for what?
well, anyway, i needed a photograph for camp applications - why
does it matter what i look like to be a camp counselor? but i don't control
these things; i'm just subject to the whims of the higher powers with the jobs
and the money. so i went outside in boston
in january (COLD) and took this picture. i got the job - i wonder if it had
anything to do with this photograph.
