As a violinist, rosin is a fact of life. For those of you non-string-players, rosin is basically dried tree resin. How exciting. Well, as with rubberbands, there appear to be no rosin fanatics on the web. (Although many a bass player will be proud to tell you how wonderful the stuff is... believe me, I've heard it...) Through searching the web, I've discovered that rosin is not just the stuff of string players... but enjoyed worldwide by bowlers, carpenters, solderers, dancers, and those who, well, just love tree sap for the fun of it!
