silly goose finally has a web page!
baby sumo
This is how I looked as a 3 month old baby. If you observe closely, you can see the rolls that earned me the nickname "baby sumo" from the worried and delighted members of my family in both the US and in Japan.
living on the hall of pretzel appreciation
Here I am, 18 years later in Hallowell Basement at Swarthmore College. I guess I grew out of the baby and the sumo stages and turned out all right. Ah, the miracles of Developmental Biology (which is the reason why I'm doing this web page in the first place). Unfortunately Sharples food is making me feel like I'm regressing back into the sumo stage again...
OK, so this is now an old picture since it's a year and a half later and I'm not even at Swat anymore. The cool thing about the Internet is that you can look at my silly page from anywhere, and I can even change it while I'm away in Japan for a semester. But fear not! I will be back in Hallowell Basement next fall as the RA. Of course, it will no longer be the Hall of Pretzal Appreciation since I have to change things up a bit. I'm thinking of having a "Transformers" or "Godzilla" theme (2 of my favorite things!). If you have an opinion, e-mail me at: aphilli1@condor.sccs.swarthmore.edu
