Yeah, George was definitely located in Hallowell basement the whole time *I* was at Swat (fall '87 through fall '91), and it was one of my projects (as Swil curator) to tidy it up and make it a nice, comfortable space that people could actually hang out in if they wanted. (Unfortunately, this project never succeeded. It was *really* dirty in there.) I think what we *did* get in Tarble in the late 1980s was locker 42. I remember DVS telling us about it and very cleverly informing us of the lock combination. (Not to mention very memorably--at least, *I* still remember the combination. Is it still the same?) I also have the impression, although I've never been able to get confirmation on this, that the "C." in the middle of the name was added at some point while I was there, possibly inadvertently. I just know that Eric Hurliman visited at some point and said that this was the first *he'd* heard of any "C" in the name... But it may take research on the order of j7y's to discover the answer to this one... (Speaking of which, j7y, your gift for archival, documentation, and research makes us historian-types (or perhaps more importantly, us primary-source lovers) swoon. :) --Deb
