Old George, in f-f-f-Hallowell Basement, was an ex-dorm room that SWIL more or less appropriated, and lost when the Basement was renovated and turned permanently into dorm space. The George C. Hurliman Memorial Library Memorial Library exists in awkward harmony with CP&P, which (as they see it) allows us to share space that properly belongs to them. When we first moved in, they weren't happy about letting us keep *anything* in there. Sounds like they've mellowed out since then, but CP&P giveth, CP&P taketh away. Long answer: No time for long answer now. -Kendra
