Sager Symposium 2003
This page is designed to provide resources for queer and questioning students at Swarthmore College, including links to on-campus and off-campus programs and services. The resources are organized so that prospective and current students can find out about organizations and activities that provide support and/or fun.
This SQU week's meeting, is taking place on Wednesday March 24 , 2004 at 10pm in the Intercultural Center. It's a discussion!
Queer in the Swarthmore classroom:
How has your queer identity influenced your academic experience at Swarthmore? Have class dynamics ever made you uncomfortabe? What are strategies that students can use while part of these situations, and what are relevant institutional response mechanisms? How can classes be run in a more inclusive way? What issues do teachers and student need to be aware of in order to make their classes more queer-friendly?
This SQU week's meeting, is taking place on Wednesday March 17 , 2004 at 10pm in the Intercultural Center. We'll be reading queer/queer-friendly children's books ( or having them read to us ) and snacking on hot cocoa (weather permitting) and cookies.
These are the books we have so far - feel free to bring any of your own!
