Small groups gather once a week and offer a chance to get to know God and other Swatties more personally. Most meet for about an hour and a half and usually include times for sharing about our lives, prayer, and study and discussion of a section of the Bible. Led by one or two of your fellow students, the are based on class-year. All, regardless of faith background or class year are welcomed to attend the dorm-based groups. A complete listing of groups, their leaders and meeting times and places can be found below. Small groups generally average 4-8 attendees each week. Each semester, all the small groups go through part of a book of the Bible and attempt to discover not only the meaning behind the words, but also the application to our lives. There's no need to bring a Bible, as we provide manuscripts for you (and often even snacks!). This can be a great opportunity to delve into deep questions about Christianity and challenge ourselves as well as becoming more familiar with the Bible. | ||||
