What is SASA?

The Swarthmore African Students Association (SASA) is a support group formed to address issues affecting the lives of the African students on the Swarthmore campus. Part of SASA’s mission is to enrich the experiences of the general Swarthmore community by fostering a deeper awareness of issues on Africa, to initiate and maintain ties with other African groups, especially in the tri-college area and along the East coast, and to work towards the expansion of the College’s approved study-abroad programs in Africa.
