Sixteen Feet In Italy: the Big Wrap

On Monday, they took us to ascoli gastronimica, where we watched olives being prepared for shipping. They used a robotic wrapping machine to bind the boxes of frozen olives for shipping; it followed a path around the base platform and wound plastic as it went, higher and higher. We thought it was a great toy, and joked about getting on one of the platforms. Well, the owner heard us, and rigged it up.We got on, huddled close and laughed til we cried as the robot wrapped us up in plastic! Then, a lifter came by and brought us outside and made like he was going to put us in the truck:
