Why Vegetarian?

Animal Welfare:

  • Cage-Free Egg Campaign: We are currently working to encourage Swarthmore College to switch to the use of cage-free eggs in its dining hall. As the Humane Society of the US reports, this step has already been taken by nearly 100 American colleges and universities, along with companies like Ben and Jerry's, Whole Foods Market, and Wild Oats Natural Marketplace.
