Services
The SCCS provides a number of services to the Swarthmore community. We offer:
- Personal shell accounts for students and staff — this includes an email address (that lasts past graduation!), webspace, and a computer environment that you can play around in.
- Services for student groups:
- Mailing lists.
- Web space.
- Wikis.
- Equipment:
- Digital cameras.
- Vide cameras.
- A DSLR, in conjunction with Photo Club.
- Space:
- The Media Lounge: a linux-and-mac lab in the basement of Clothier — the closest computers to Sharples.
- The Video Pit: a room with an 8-foot screen and projector, with various gaming systems (Xbo360, Wii, PS2), and many games for them.
